Gratitude Revealed

One of the greatest things that came out of my TedX talk on Gratitude was getting to hear personal stories from viewers on how gratitude helped them lead happier, healthier and more productive lives. This inspired me to take a deeper look into gratitude by really exploring what it is, why it is important and what we can all do to live more gracious lives – and that is how Gratitude Revealed was born.

Gratitude Revealed is an unprecedented journey into the science, mystery and pursuit of the building blocks – things like Curiosity, Connection, Mindfulness, and Purpose – that compose living a life in gratitude. Through a series of 16 film shorts, this series educates and empowers audiences to live in the spirit of gratitude by noticing it all around us. Gratitude is a universal feeling that we have towards our family, our communities, our environments and, most importantly, ourselves. It is an entirely free, self-sustainable resource that we simply need to be reminded exists. And Gratitude Revealed can help all of us do that.

Gratitude is no longer just a simple sentiment and has proven to be instrumental in improving wellbeing. A plethora of research has documented the social, physical, and psychological benefits of gratitude. It helps people feel more positive emotions, find a meaningful purpose, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. Expressing gratitude reduces a multitude of toxic emotions, ranging from envy and resentment to frustration and regret, effectively increases happiness and the tendency to forgive, and reduces depression and stress. These benefits are available to most anyone who practices gratitude, even in the midst of adversity. With Gratitude Revealed, we wanted to create a resource that helps not only remind people of our ability to be gracious but also directly delivers skills to do so.

I invite you to visit www.GratitudeRevealed.com and begin your journey. From there, you will be able to freely access all 16 film shorts that center on an aspect of gratitude and enhance our understanding of it. Because the shorts range from 3-6 minute long and follow no particular order, your journey can truly be your own and move at your own pace. Each video is accompanied by scientific evidence and suggested exercises that supports the ideas outlined in the film. There is even an immersive experience, entitled Mastering Gratitude, that delves even further into exploring gratitude and its underlining elements.

While filming these videos, I was fortunate enough to hear many different stories that made my journey into gratitude an experience I am excited to share. I know what I found, but what will you discover?
